A new and inexpensive tool kit to install 1" pipe short distances under sidewalks and similar obstacles. The tool kit contains two parts - a "Striking Head" and a "Compaction point" that screw onto a CUSTOMER SUPPLIED length of 1/2" steel pipe. The steel pipe is readily available, in VARIOUS LENGTHS, at any local Home Center or Hardware store. With the new Sidewalk Spear™ tool kit contractors can now assemble low cost custom lengths of the tool to suit various sized obstacles. When properly assembled and used the tool allows the user to install 1" water pipe or electrical conduit under sidewalks in just a few minutes.
